This is a beautiful French 48 inch natural pearl and 18kt gold necklace from the Victorian Period. Crafted in18kt yellow gold this chain is composed of 2 different filigree links and natural pearls. The links are hand decorated with scrolling-motif wirework. The condition of the pearls is wonderful with gorgeous luster. Like natural pearls, they vary in shape and size approximately 3.45-4.58mm. This wonderful chain may be applied three times overhead. This is a fabulous, versatile piece that is perfect for any Victorian collector. The chain is 5.35mm wide and weighs 28.6 grams.
