Fabulous Modern 2.71 ct. Sapphire, Diamond 2.50ctw. and Platinum Ring

This is a stunning modern sapphire, diamond and platinum ring. This wonderful piece has a vibrant, faceted, cushion cut sapphire stone at its center. This natural “vivid blue”  sapphire is 2.71 carats (8.00 x 7.94 x 4.89mm) with a GRS Swiss lab gemstone report # GRS2011-08329 stating the origin as Sri Lanka. This gorgeous stone is surrounded by a 16 round .07 carat round brilliant cut diamonds.  The shoulders each have a gleaming white .50 carat diamond.  These have an approximate GIA color and clarity of G-H/VS.  These diamonds are surrounded by .05 carat round brilliant cut diamonds and half way around the band is a double row of .03 carat diamonds.  The accent diamonds are all set with shared prongs and have an approximate GIA color and clarity of G-H/VS1 and have a total weight of 2.5ctw. The undercarriage is open, allowing the light to come through with an additional row of five .05 carat diamonds for extra sparkle from every angle. The ring weighs 5.9 dwt, is currently a size 6½, and is stamped “PT950”. This would make a beautiful engagement ring or a fabulous statement ring!
