Art Deco Platinum Diamond and Emerald Engagement Ring 1.10ct

This stunning diamond engagement ring is from the Art Deco period. Made of platinum, the ring has a gorgeous square mounting covered with etching and filigree detail. Resting at the center is a 1.10ct old European Cut diamond, H color, VS clarity, framed by six calibre cut emeralds approximately .027ctw. in milgrained bezels. The central diamond is held in place by four corners, each one elegantly etched. Surrounding the center stone are sixteen assorted petite single cut diamonds, weighing a combined approximate .30ctw. Completing the elegant design are hand-engraved accents, fine milgrain detail, and delicate filigree on each shoulder. Finishing the design is a plain, tapered shank, which is marked "5% IRID. PLAT".  The ring is currently a size 7 and weighs 2.5dwt.  This is a timeless and classic beauty that would make a very special engagement ring or right hand ring.
