14kt Aquamarine, Ruby and Sapphire Bouquet Brooch

This magnificent vintage brooch was crafted in 14kt yellow gold and features a large flower, a small bud and leaves tied together with a lovely gold bow.  Beautiful natural aquamarines, rubies and sapphires give the piece gorgeous color. The flowers are adorned with lovely faceted bezel set aquamarine petals and rubies.  At the center of the main flower is a .50 carat cabochon sapphire.  The nine epaulet shaped aquamarines have an approximate weight of 10.0 carats, the ten round rubies have a approximate weight of 1.0 carats and the sapphires weigh approximately  .72 carats. The entire piece is beautifully miligrained and the gold leaves are hand etched and have a lifelike design. The pin is 3” X 1 ½ inches, stamped 14kt and weighs 14.6 grams. The piece is beautifully made although it is unsigned.  Thanks to its substantial size, this impressive pin would make quite an eye-catching accessory, and would look beautiful paired with other Victorian pieces.
