Product Description

This is a fantastic diamond engagement ring from the Edwardian period. This beautiful piece has a European Cut diamond at the center of a soft dome shaped platinum mounting. The diamond is prong set within an octagonal box setting and has an approximate weight of .50 carats. The stone has an approximate GIA color and clarity of I/VS. Surrounding the center diamond are 12 Single Cut diamonds that are approximately .05 carats each and one more on each shoulder adding an additional .70 carats to the ring. The mounting is simply wonderful with fine filigree wirework, cutouts and a beautiful flowing design that carries down the shoulders of the band. The shank is stamped "PLATINUM" and the ring tests as such. The ring weighs 2.1 dwt and is a finger size 7 that can easily be sized. This ring would also make a fabulous right hand ring!
