This is an absolutely stunning diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco period. Resting in the center of the platinum mounting is a gorgeous European Cut diamond, which has a total weight of 1.75 carats with an approximate GIA color and clarity of J/VS1. The diamond is held within a square-shaped double prong setting and accented with 24 additional European cut diamonds, which carry along the shoulders and sides of the mounting. These diamonds have an approximate GIA color and clarity of H-I/VS1-SI1 and range in size from .01-.05 carats. The mounting is simply exquisite, with fine filigree wirework, cutouts and bead work. Hand-engraved accents and delicate milgrained detail travel along the outside of the band, completing the lovely design. The ring is stamped “platinum”, weighs 3.5 dwt and is currently a finer size 7 ¾ . This is a very well-crafted Art Deco piece with a feminine design; it would make a wonderful engagement ring or special anniversary gift!
