This is a stunning diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco period. This piece is crafted in platinum and features a round brilliant cut diamond resting at the center of an intricate filigree mounting. The diamond, which weighs 0.91 carats, is double prong set and has an approximate GIA color and clarity of H/VS2. The mounting is simply wonderful with fine wire-work and delicate milgrain design which carries around down the shoulders of the band and holds three single cut diamonds on each side. The diamond is held up high and proud with eight long prongs. A beautiful etched designtravels along the outside of the band ½ way around. This is a very well-crafted Art Deco piece with a feminine design and would make a wonderful engagement ring! The ring weighs 2.1 dwt and is currently a finger size 6 that can be sized. It tests entirely as platinum and is stamped “PL”.
