This is a beautiful rock quartz crystal pendant from the Art Deco period. Set in 14kt white gold, this lovely piece is comprised of a larger rock quartz crystal plaque with a single diamond set in the center that hangs from a smaller rock crystal that also has a single diamond in the center. The rock quartz crystals are hand carved design on the back, which shows through to the front as a subtle starburst inspired design. The crystals are surrounded by a white gold frame which is beautifully ornate and detailed with very fine filigree wirework, displaying a lovely motif. The diamond rests within a diamond-shaped box setting that is riveted into the center of the plaque and the pendant hangs from beautiful all original filigree chain. The larger crystal is 14.52mm X 18.13 that includes the frame with a .05 carat diamond the center. The smaller one is 7.5mmX 103mm with the frame with a .02 carat diamond in the center. The chain is 17 inches long and 3mm wide, the pendant drops 1 ¾ inches. The back of the crystal pieces is yellow gold and the entire piece tests as 14kt and weighs 8.1 dwt. The craftsmanship is spectacular and compliments the pendant perfectly. This exceptional pendant could be worn everyday and would make a gorgeous addition to any collection!
