A truly superb, high-quality, original diamond ring from the early 20th century with design elements from both the Art Deco and the slightly earlier Edwardian period. The sparkling .68 ct. European-cut diamond sits pretty in this wonderfully detailed platinum and diamond mounting with calibre sapphire accents surrounding the center stone. The diamond has an approximate GIA color and clarity of I/VS1.Twenty single cut bead-set diamond sparklers give this ring its true character. The shoulders of the ring look like the ribbon from a beautiful bow wrapping around your finger. This ring has fabulous openwork, hand engraving and milgraining that shines throughout. The ring is a size 7 ½ and is stamped “PLAT” and tests as such. This stone has not been graded by GIA but an appraisal by a graduate gemologist can be done upon request.
